Tale of Reflections and Slow Down

*Tale of Reflections and Slow Down*

The pandemic came  and brought alongwith it, a host of mirrors and thus a time for introspection.
The human race has started reflecting upon itself.
Was the exploitation of nature so required?
Was'nt the consumption of 'avoidable' animals really avoidable ?
Nature has started finding its breathing space.

The human race has finally understood that they too are just an entity in the eco system, perhaps more of a trouble-maker with all the over exploitation of nature for its selfish interests.
True.. it brought an economic slow down but the pandemic brought alongwith it a message too.
The message  reads SLOW DOWN.

To slow down and breathe, to spend time with family, pick up skills, to take time to reflect upon ourselves, to flip through old photo albums, to listen to songs perhaps not only for its music when on the way to office but to understand and enjoy the lyrics in the comforts of your homes, to find joy in small household chores etc.

The pandemic surely has taught a lesson that nothing more than your life, a house and basic necessities are important for survival. We have learnt that we can do away with extra luxuries. All other animals too, are here only for their survival. They live in the moment. In the eyes of God,  humans too are no different from any other living being.

With the gift of intellect that God has bestowed upon us,  let's justify it to be of use to  nature and for betterment of human race. After the pandemic recedes let's not reverse the good that the pandemic  brought and most importantly learn to co-exist with other co-habitants of planet.
